Sparwood Coal Miner Days Society invites all Sparwood businesses to join in the fun and excitement of Coal Miner Days June 10-13, 2010 by participating in the business decorating contest.

 The theme of Coal Miner Days 2010 is Summer Days!

 This business decorating contest is a great opportunity for your business to be part of this year’s Coal Miner Days to help build community spirit and just have some fun at work!

Businesses will be judged on the following criteria:

1. Use of color

2. Use of props

3. Quality of work

4. Use of the theme…Summer Days

 The winning business will win a plaque with staff photo to be displayed at your place of business for the entire year and photo to be submitted to the local papers as recognition of your winning efforts and participating spirit.

Decorating Tips and Ideas

To enter the Sparwood Coal Miner Days Business Decorating Contest, complete the registration form in the Business Decorating Flyer below and return it to the Coal Miner Days Society no later than Friday, June 4, 2010 or copy and paste the registration information below and email it to us. Judging will take place on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 between 1 pm and 4 pm.
